Release thoughts and Team America…

Good morning!

I really thought that I would have enough energy during JOSS to keep the blog going full speed, but I realized pretty quickly there was no way I could handle that, good thing Crill and Mike was on location with their cameras to deliver great videoblogs!

Anyway, I think I am back again so expect frequent updates in the next few weeks!  Crill will join me again in 10 days as we start preparing for the Gumball start on the 1st of May in London to start pumping out videoblogs, its going to be sick!

Thought I would start my blog comeback with a "video release explanation" as many seem to wonder whats up! This is a rough explanation of what the week end looks for the JOSS organization.

  • Sat- We get all the videos in HIgh res, we stress all day to get all the movies in the correct format and frame rates (some export in US format and some in Euro) and get them on the big screen.
  • Sun- We are dead, JOSS organisation takes a day off after 14 days of barly sleeping.
  • Mon- Crill collect all the vids from Awards producer. Starts converting to Vimeo format. (A lot of big files to convert)
  • Tues- Re-design website and get it ready for "final videos" Make sure all is on point, get ready for Wed. Coordinate with all websites and get press releases out.
  • Wed- Crill uploads and we release first video at 18.00.

So as you can tell, it's not like we are sleeping and delaying the videos on purpose.

However I will be the first to admit that we also look at what we believe will be the best system to generate the best possible web stats for the release. Some might not like this sort of thinking, but when reality checks in its a fact that without good stats it will be much harder to keep sponsors coming back to the event, without sponsors there will be not be an event and without an event there will not be any videos, so I think we all gain from doing it this way.

Thats why it upsets me when Team America releases their video just because they are not happy with their score. All the teams knew about the release schedule and agreed to work with us, something all the other teams did.

It not only makes it harder for me to make JOSS happen next year, I also think its very disrespectful to their friends in the other teams when they try to steal all the lime light from them. I know all the teams worked hard during this event and they ALL deserves to get full credit for it!

Seeing Team America doing this really makes me sad, I have worked super hard to make this event happen and even harder to make sure that all the teams have a great time in Åre. So to see Team America not speaking to me or saying good bye because of their score to then then leak their video makes me almost wonder why I work my ass of  to make this happen. (I am not organizer, not the judge, as an organizer I did adjust the criteria to the JOSS competitors requests.)

Then I think about all the sunny days, the crazy nights and alI the fun I had with all the stoked and humble teams, it that makes it worth every minute of work. However I this year realized that I will think twice on who I invite next year.  I will much rather invite more stoked rookies to Åre then pros making it hard for the event and their friends. However, that would also suck as Team America had one of the best edits I have ever seen…

All I know is that I want the best guys in Åre, but I want them to be happy!

Enough about that, lets focus on the positive things!  All the other teams have been killer guests and a pleasure to take care. (Big shout out to team NS for being the group of most stoked skiers I have seen in a long time, thats what this sport is about!) We are now only ONE day away from the first video to be released, I think all of you are going to love all of them!

JOSS might be over but with Gumball approaching fast so I have a lot of things to deal with in order to get the car to London, get it insured and flewn back to Europe when its over, so I have to get going!

I hope that cleased things up a bit and I hope that you can be patient for tomorrows video to drop!

See you soon!

JON

    Bobby Brown

and I will bet money tom walsh did not try to piss u off he probably went along with the group

Try to bring back a healthy Bobby Brown and maybe that guy that has been in ski films with tanner hall the young guy who does alot of filming

    can’t remember his name

Honesty u are doing a world class job with everything

Bring in Johnny Drama with Bobby Brown

  3. Thank you for this wonderfull blog, I have been lurking for some time, many thanks to the Admin here too.

  4. KG says:

ok so most people agree the judging sucks

they have a right to be pissed we all been in comps and the judging has been wank and u been super pissed

everyone does angry shit out of rage and may not think about it at the time e.g. tanner hall

they took the edit down so they did apolgise for it and all u people who say oh wallisch rep is ruined it I BET u all come crying back one he does something new or has a crazy segment.

well done to america their edit kicked ass, same with everyone

just get over it as it not to do with us its between those guys and all u guys are doing is sparking more shit

  5. Andy M says:

Simon never deserved to win the Big Air at WX14 so what goes around comes around. I also can’t remember Jon being a fag when he came second then. Simon isn’t even that good these days, in fact most of the guys at JOSS are better than him. Wallisch however is different, he is much more unique with all his steeze and it would be a shame not to see him compete, but if he’s going to be a fag about it, don’t let him compete and let him see what he’s missing. Maybe then in 2012 he can come back and appreciate the event a little more.

  6. Jake says:

I think the whole situation is rediculas.

  7. tom b says:

Its too bad that you had a conversation with team america to clear things up. And everything seems okay and then you wrote nasty things about Team America in your blog. They agreed to remove their edit and then you write shit about them. They did say good bye and acknowledged all your hard work and then you shoot them down in a blog. It is unfortunate that you look only at what you did that was great and not others. Team America is great and worked really really hard as evidenced by their AWESOME video. It sucks that skiing is getting to be all about the EGO and not the VIDEO!!! It isn’t Team America that needs to grow up.

  8. MArcus says:

So shitty of them, dont know what to say. Really disrespectful to you also.

Get over your lost, move on. Do it better next time, dont cry like damn babys.

If something was wrong with the judging, talk about it, be proffesional and not act like 8 year old.

  9. Aaron T says:

    Also, I’m loving the goggles.

  10. kbt says:

Jon being so upset he needs to write a blog post about team America’s video realease is a little ridiculous. I know you wanted everyone to watch it from you website, but did you really need to speak that negatively about Simon and Tom. Did they ever say anything negative to you, actually? The argument is that Simon and Tom only care about is being successful by winning when all Jon seems to care about is how successful his competitions is. Both are valid things to want, so the argument is really who had more of a right. Simon and Tom didn’t need to put the video up, but Jon made it a huge deal when it really doesn’t need to be. He is making it sound that because this event doesn’t have videos released on his site all on consecutive days the event won’t be successful. Of course it will! Everybody loves JOSS. All the videos go straight to youtube anyways so its not really like you will get that big of a difference in hits in your website whether they are on your website or not. In terms of tracking the views that JOSS gets, that can be done on any other website still. Yes I know you want to advertise but I think you do a good job of that already because you are already established as a great competition so of course sponsors, fans and skiers will be coming back.

I just don’t understand would you being so upset because they released their video would make you think that they didn’t appreciate the competition and all the hard work you put into it. They seemed like they were having an amazing time while they were there. Loving the event and not liking the judging are two separate things and I think you are wrong to blend the two. Nobody argued that you weren’t doing an amazing job, not even Simon and Tom.

The judging system is weird, even if people don’t entirely agree, no one is stoked on it. I think that the JOSS concept should maybe name one winner. It is hard to judge an edit so maybe just have several categories, the nominees and one winner. Making all those 1-5th places seems really difficult and unnecessary. Simon and Tom were dramatic because they got people’s choice. I think that is so much more of a compliment than who was named the winner because nobody likes that judging system anyways. Its the fans who matter the most, not 4 judges, so they should be stoked.

I can’t believe how angry people are getting, and that Jon needed to write this entire blog post. I don’t think putting your video online is really that bad? When they said they didn’t mean any disrespect can’t that be considered enough and everybody just move on?

  11. sorry, I I do not get it

  12. Andrew Cramer says:

Jon, you may of put the event on but in the end simon and tom did the skiing therefore they own the video. You are self centered, and proof of that comes in that you have to have your name on all the videos. Your making a huge mistake by saying you wont invite them next year as they are on another level ( one that you cannot even begin to fantasize about reaching). And for everyone saying that they lost respect for tom and simon, ive skied with Tom and he is the nicest dude ive ever skied with. and my friend went to the dumont cup and said the same about simon. So Jon your a pretty boy bitch and id love to beat the fuck outta you

    • Sanchez says:

Well that was a mature post.

Who cares if Tom is nice? The point is he agreed to not leak the video, then leaked it, then wrote a long-ass whiny and bitchy non-apology. His true colours have shown through. No longer will kids look up to him. His reputation is cooked.

Simon’s reputation was cooked years ago, and none of this is surprising in relation to him.

      • Andrew Cramer says:

Your retarded if you think noone will look up to them. name one kid who wouldnt be stoked to ski with either of them. the thing is they actually do stuff to help young and upcoming skiers. jon doesnt do anything unless his name is involved. and about the mature post , fuck you go back to mexico

  13. Gustaf winkvist says:

    I agree with you.

  14. slim says:

Jon, just wanted to write a quick note to say what a fantastic job i think you do, lots of my friends and I in England have so much respect for what you have done for Free Style skiing. You have brought credibility, exposure and professionalism to the sport, and with every blog I’ve watched the amount of time and effort you’ve put into the sport is clear, it’s actually quite inspirational.

Dumont has behaved like a petulant child, his self indulgent monologues from his last two joss edits gave us taste for his ego, but this is un acceptable. Wallish I thought was better than this … oh well,. Good luck for the rest of the season Jon, respect

  15. orti says:

First of all i think that joss is an awesome event and it is defenetly not ok to leave without thanking jon olsson. On the other hand i can understand, that tom and simon are angry. You cant just give points to the top 3 in such a big comp in which the best edit should win and not just one trick. On top of that it cant happen that 3 teams have the same score. I really dont want to say that team canada doesnt deserve the win, but with the old judging system it would be clearer and better understanable.

  16. Disappointed says:

I thought that the skiing scene had a new star rising in 2006 when Tom Wallisch won the super unknown contest. I’ve followed him ever since and I’ve always loved the way he skies and his attitude towards other people, no matter if they’re athletes or not. He reached a peek when I saw the blog episode where he taught kids to do front flips in Åre, that was amazing of him.

And now, I’ve lost all my respect for him. He seems to be just another spoiled motherfucking whiner after all. Honestly, this is unforgivable. After such an event where they were treated like fucking royalty every single day, Tom and Simon starts crying over the judging system? GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE! Sounds like a bunch of 5 year old girls, GROW UP!

This is one of the worst moves ever. I’m truly sad, I expected so much more from Tom. I hoped that he could be an idol, a person that kids could look up to, who skies because he really loves it and not only to win competitions. Winning this event must be considered icing on the cake after all that Jon has done. Tom and Simon, the two biggest douches on the skiing scene right now, didn’t get that. Fucking retards. Tom – You have lost your good reputation because of this, together with a whole bunch of fans, including myself.

P.S. Jon – I would love it if you guys made an announcement regarding what really happened together so that we enthusiasts can get our fair share of information. There are hundreds of threads all over freeride and newschoolers with people speculating. Would be grate if we got a solid answer once and for all so that this discussion could be put aside.

  17. miny says:

That shit is out of hand! But have you thought about the resemblance to when Kanye West crashed the podium a couple of years ago. Sure Canada won, but what everyone will be talking about from this years JOSS team AM… That´s what I call stealing the lime light!!!

  18. fouldsys says:

I think Team America has every right to be upset with the judging, as it seems Jon kind of pulled a fast one, however they had no right to post their edit. On facebook they say their justification is that all they have to show for the event is their edit and they wanted to share it. What difference does it make if their edit is released a week early? Zero in my opinion. However the fact that they did post their edit has created all this controversy which may or may not produce more hits and may or may not be better for the sponsors(nobody likes controversy surrounding something they’ve invested in). To be honest, I think this thing got out of hand too quickly and both parties acted on their emotions and not rationally. Also, considering the fact that most people have not even seen all the edits gives them no right to start pointing fingers; there is a lot of armchair quarterbacking going on here. I’m sure Canada deserved to win.

“- Style tricks (16 points max)
    - Tech tricks (16 points max)
    - Urban (16 points max)
    - Filming (16 points max)
    - Overall (32 points max)”

I agree with tom and simon about the judging…

    0p to 4-7th
    1p to 3rd
    2p to 2nd
    3p to 1st
    (x2 on the overall)

what happend to the max 16/32p?

  20. Philip says:

Both Tom and Simon knew what the rules and restrictions were – for them to say that “they worked their asses off” and they “paid thousands of dollars to get to the event” doesn’t make a single difference.. They signed up, probably had a great time (as all other skiers usually do at this great event); so what it there to complain about?

If they’re not happy with the way they judge the competition, fucking don’t participate. Simon I knew was i whiny bitch, but Tom? Apparently.

Big ups to Jon for once again putting in the effort and pushing the sport.

(Even though Jon easily made some money from getting this event to where it is, he sure made it something special that gave us all joy and therefore made the sport progress. You american Jon-haters, of all, should know what capitalism is)

    Tack Jon
Till nästa JOSS, ta med några som uppskattar eventet istället för griniga äckel som Simon, Tom och Jacob

  21. Angela says:

ok i got to say this it was really out of line for tom and dumont not to say bye to jon, but i’m not really surprized by dumont he’s kinda always like that.

  22. mats says:

Who the fuck cares about winning. when you get to ski the coolest jumps and have a blast with friends. tom and simon are going all shawn withe style. no friends just the cash price on there mind.

  23. Fredrik says:

Incase they want to support skiing that much, and not the “filming” then why didnt they participate in JOI……. They would if they cared about fans and progressing the sport in my opinion..

  24. Magnus M says:

@whatup: Wtf are you talking about? Tom and Simon did not worked their ass of for Jon’s sake. They did it because it is fun. The video should not get posted on youtube cause thereby the sponseres that pays the lodging, jump building etc. will not get any views them self. And thereby the event wont be possible next year. End of story!

  25. Joel says:

Isn’t skiing all about fun anymore? Is it just money and showing how cool you are that matters? If you’re not gaining something (money) in competing, then you don’t do it or what?
This is why you, Jon, are the man. To read your blog and see your videoblogs makes me happy, it makes me remember why I love standing on a pair of skis! The sport only need people like you and Andreas etc. We don’t need any selfish dudes that just wanna earn their money. I’m not saying Team America are like this, I do like those guys, but their behaviour is not “fun” at all to me and to me skiing is all about fun! That’s why JOSS and JOI is like mega-fun, cause it involves everything you need to be happy for a year (sort of)! People who forget that skiing is the funniest thing in the world shouldn’t be able to make skiing less fun for us, so just take away those who try.
Thanks Team America for doing your best and made the best video you could (and no I haven’t seen it yet, cause it’s not supposed to been seen yet) and a big thanks to JON! Epic is the word for JOSS -10.

  26. Simon says:

Why don’t Jon contact YouTube and claim the rights on the video if he has it? I’m not sure, but maybe he could take the video offline if they don’t have the rights?

Props to you Jon, really amazing event! Those guys from America really lacks respect for Jon and your crew.

  27. undran says:

Jon, vad tkr du om det jacob skrev på sin blogg?

  28. Hyphy Phil says:

in regards to the judging seems kinda fucked up…
isnt the main focus the skiing and not the theme or whatever his isnt xdance and these guys aren’t actors…

    • Carl Cardell says:

      THE JOSS CONCEPT

It has been voted as the most prestigious freeskiing event of the season. 21 of the world’s best freeskiing athletes and 12 of the world’s finest ski film makers will work together in 7 different teams, representing 7 nations. The teams are: Sweden, Norway, Europe, Down Under, Newschoolers, USA and Canada. Each team consists of five persons, two filmers, two pro skiers and a rookie skier. The rookie is new for this year and the only condition to classify as a rookie is that you haven´t participated in X-games before 2010.

The teams will have 264 hours to unleash their creativity on the features in and around Åre. The goal: To put together the most amazing and entertaining 5-minute edit. There’s a neat cash prize. Winner takes it all.

The teams’ efforts will be unveiled at the Mix Megapol Arena in front of a huge audience. It’s not just a weather protected venue, it’s a gala night – and just like in the Academy Awards we have different nominations. But instead of rewarding the best sound and so on, we will reward the best trick, the most spectacular crash etc. And not to forget: all the 5-minute edits will be shown and the judges will present the winner of JOSS 2010.

      News for this year’s event!

3 skiers in each team (two pro’s and one rookie)
2 weeks in Åre. This will make life easier for both the teams and the staff
More focus on jib and urban stuff
New judging format. We think that the last year’s judging criteria’s promoted technical tricks a little too much, so we have adjusted them to optimize the judging. It is not an easy task, but we believe we have a great formula this year:
      - Style tricks (16 points max)
      - Tech tricks (16 points max)
      - Urban (16 points max)
      - Filming (16 points max)
      - Overall (32 points max)

  29. Carl Cardell says:

Another thing that is a bit strange..

Schlopy posted that he went up to Jon and thanked him for JOSS before he went home :) if he could do this then it makes no sense in what Tom and Simon are saying that they couldn´t do this because they could not find Jon :)

it´s not hard to se who´s bullshitting and who´s not :)

did you cats really not speak to the organizer or say goodbye? just curious, cuz that would appear pretty ungrateful. and would seem like sore losers. dumont-”I dont make the rules”
I personally thanked Jon… not sure what the others did, but with myself being the underdog/ new kid I have no expectations of winning (I have just as much fun getting last as I do first), just always out to have a good time, and Jon provided a great time- thanks Jon!

  30. Derek says:

Tom and Simon worked really hard and deserve a ton of credit, but once they accept their invitation they contractually agree to allow Jon to post the edits as he sees fit. I’m certain they worked incredibly hard and it shows as the edit is amazing. However, just as they work hard for a part in a movie they have to wait for the company to release it in the movie, they can’t just post it on the internet and expect everything to be cool. Agree or not with the judging format or any other aspect of the contest they were being disrespectful and unprofessional by releasing the edit. Props to them for amazing skiing, but Jon I feel you have every right to feel upset. Thanks for the amazing contest that continues to progress skiing every year.

  31. Jakob says:

Simon Dumont and Tom Wallisch are not smart guys.

The fact that they worked a lot with their edit doesn’t mean shit. They knew the terms and conditions when they entered the event. Stick to the fucking plan, fucking cry babies.

  32. skier says:

Jon this is not your edit, its Simon’s, Tom’s and Schlopy’s. You also need to realize that without these athletes your competition wouldn’t be possible. These skiers and filmmakers are what make the competition what it is, not just your sponsors. Your sponsors weren’t the ones working their asses off for two weeks trying to make an edit for your competition.

So next year you will have a competition without two of the best skiers in the world. Way to go!

    • chris says:

“Your sponsors weren’t the ones working their asses off for two weeks trying to make an edit for your competition”

You are right here, but without sponsors it would not happen again. Do you know the price for snowcats, helly snowmobiles??

      Do you think it’s free?

      • skier says:

I realize this and I understand what he is saying but you can have all of these sponsors and snow cats and a ridiculous helicopter but if you don’t have the best skiers in the world then what is the point.

He just needs to realize that these skiers are the ones who did the skiing and made the edits.

I can see both sides of the argument but in my opinion the skiers should release THEIR edits when they wish to.

        • chris says:

“I realize this and I understand what he is saying but you can have all of these sponsors and snow cats and a ridiculous helicopter but if you don’t have the best skiers in the world then what is the point”

I think it is possible to have both! I don’t see any problems with a competition that has rules! There are rules everywhere, in every sport and if you dont like them, don’t participate!

        • jonna says:

he is just trying to make shure its going to be more joss in the next years. Read the blog!

          • asbjørn says:

what you got to understand skier, is that even though simon and tom are in the edit, it isnt theirs to do with what ever they want! it would be no edit if jon hadnt made it possible with jumps and helies and everything! when you enter a comp like this, there is a two way contract! the athletes work their asses of in a format that jon have worked his ass of to make possible, and jon has done so with help from sponsors who also needs some primetime for their investment! please think things trough before boasting agreemant-breaking!!!

    • seb says:

Your 14 probably so not going to answer your stupid comment. Bobby Brown and Nick Martini could replace Douchmont and Wallish easily next year without JOSS losing star quality.

    • A guy who wants thing to be fair says:

Hahahahahhahaha…”Jon this is not your edit, its Simon’s, Tom’s and Schlopy’s”

WTF, this is the worst thing ive ever herd! do you mean that it was right to publish the edit?

Its need to be fair.. Team America, no, Tom and Simon did very wrong. Schlopy had nothing to do whit it. so props to him. But a damn bad thing to do from Simon and Tom. They posted the Edit on facebook and on simons homepage and they also told people to spread it around!which means more publicity and more views!
Its very unfair and a very very damn stupid fucking thing to do!

    • Rasmus says:

Umm I don’t think you get the point that participating in Joss is a dream for many skiers out there. It’s not like Simon and Tom were like “fuck! we are going to Joss, that sucks”.. They get the opportunity to come ski some crazy features for two weeks with almost everything paid. What more can you ask for? If they don’t want to come I am sure Jon can easily find someone else who would still make a great addition to the competition.
Furthermore, Jon had (as far as I know) made an agreement with the teams, stating that the edits would drop on HIS website after this wednesday.

    • jonna says:

simon dumont is not the best, or one of the best skiers in the world, wonder why he was at joss at all, so many others good athlets thats so much better than him

    • Karl says:

Haha. Since when did tom wallisch and simon dumont turn the best skiers in the world? They are for sure crazy on skies and i can´t say i am any better but when they have been doing this for so many years and suddenly it starts popping up 10year olds skiing since christmas this year who can do the same tricks, then they are not longer the best, even if they pushed the sport faar.

I haven´t seen the edit, on purpose, because the sponsors make more money if i see it on jons site, and without the sponsors there wouldn´t be any event and that would be really sad cause this looks like the coolest comps organized every year with focus on what most skiers like best: the movies. Im sure its a pretty badass edit, but it doesnt deserve to get more attention than everybody elses.

If you accept the invitation to a track and field event, there the rule says: no running before the gun fires, then you are pretty dumb if you claim to have a good reason breaking the rule. Even if you have worked your ass of, because every one has, and you don´t deserve more credit than everyone else.

The US are used to winning all the comps because all the comps are in the us. Once they don´t win a contest outside the us they stard whining.

Reeally respectless to the organizers of this fine event.

  33. Maarten says:

    Hey,

I don’t think we (as outsiders) should blame Simon, Tom or even Jon. All have their own opinions and have the right to have. Why are we making such a big thing of it? In the end we need each other in this sport. I started to ski instead of snowboarding because of the love I saw between everyone and not the competition as in ski racing. Personally I can’t imagine how I could have the same satisfaction from skiing without my friends.

Because of the whole world is now stepping into this discussion everyone is going into defense mode. I saw Alex Schlopy had to defense himself on Newschoolers, because people started to place him in the disrespectful people category. Luckily I also saw Gus Kenworthy actually trying to solve it by saying that everyone had spoke it out. In the end I think he deserves the most respect because he is trying to solve the issue and not picking a side without knowing the whole story.

What is this about? From Jon’s side I think it is not nice to release the video earlier, but from Simon’s and Tom’s side I couldn’t disagree on their point about the judging format. And now I am back at my starting point this is my own opinion, just like everyone has one and I hope the next time everyone first thinks and waits for the whole story before throwing shit on someone. Jon, Simon and Tom did a lot for this sport and I am very thankful for that and hope that they will make it up to each other , because we need our friends.

And Jon sorry about this long post, but I love your blog and will continue to watch it as I did for the last three years.

    Cheers, Maarten

  34. Carl Cardell says:

Must have been so hard for Tom and Simon to pick up the phone and call Jon to say goodbye and thanks, they might not have his number and had no idea where he was staying :) Åre is such a big city :)

  35. whatup says:

    Jon,

I’m a big fan of yours but in this situation I cannot agree with you. The fact is that Simon and Tom worked their asses off at your event for two weeks and the edit that they made is their property not yours. You can’t just put your name on everything that happens at your event even though you obviously put so much work into it. Wouldn’t your sponsors be happy that Team America’s video already got 30,000 views on youtube? I think you need to check your ego a little bit.

    • luc says:

just that the sponsors are not yet in the edit…that’s actaully the main point!

    • Low-Low says:

Really bad move from Simon and Tom, no respect for the other teams either. And how can you even criticize Jon? What have he done wrong, putting on a sick event?

Jon is really bad making such a great thing for the scene……..

    • chris says:

You dont get it, the sponsors are on Jons website NOT on youtube and these sponsors make such an event happen NOT youtube! It has nothing to do with Jons ego, just the fact that the event wont be possible if every team posts their video on youtube.

    • jonna says:

The resaon he do it in this way, is so Joss can continue over the next year, I dont see that as a ego at all.

    • specialist says:

Mate you’re so wrong. They signed a contract to compete in the JOSS.
If an actor starred in a movie, does it give him the rights to release a copy on the internet before its even premiered? NO

That’s such an immature, ignorant, and disrespectful view of the situation. The edit does not SOLELY belong to Tom and Simon (Alex???). It also belongs to Jon. It’s his event. He puts the hours in. He attracts the sponsors. All Tom and Simon do is turn up for 2 weeks of skiing, filming and hospitality! OH HOW HARD FOR THEM.

It’s totally reasonable to expect that Jon releases the edits on the website, and then after that the teams can do whatever the fuck they want with them.

Simon and Tom need to stick to what they agreed to do. They need to be a bit more courteous. I’m surprised at Tom. Tom was MADE by the online community. He should know better. Maybe he’s started to believe his own hype?

As for Simon. What a nasty, spoilt, discourteous, ignorant, immature, vile, little child. I can only imagine that he’s always got his way. He needs to wake up to the real world. How would he like it if someone shit all over his thunder at his event? He’s probably throw a hissy fit and start crying.

If you read their facebook post on Team America’s thoughts.

They offer no real explanation as to why they were so fucking discourteous.
They offer no real explanation as to why they released the video early apart from that “they travelled to Sweden and came back with nothing to show for it”

SO DID OTHER TEAMS DOUCHEBAGS! Don’t see them being so fucking rude do you?

Yes the judging sucked. But real men would accept it, have a quiet word with Jon and move on.

You behaved like bitches. Jon called you out. He was correct to do so. End of it.

I hope you don’t come back next year. Jon is right. The event does need big names, but it also needs guys like Schlopy (who seems to have behaved admirably throughout).

Oh and it certainly doesn’t need Jacob Wester. That guy is a straight BITCH as well. Last year’s ‘lack of commitment’ or whatever, and this years constant little bitch moaning. Tell that guy to fuck off Jon.

      Call all these fuckers out.

They’ve seem to have forgotten how fortunate they are to be Pro Skiers.
